Interesting concept, but just looking at the track ratings of tracks that I know, it's all over the shop. Easy tracks are rated hard, medium tracks very difficult, or even hard tracks easy.. there's just no standard here.
Lots of areas are missing good tracks, but then I guess the idea is that will grow as more come on board.
I think unless you go and drive these yourself and you control the quality, then this app is a mud map at best.
Anyway just my feedback. Cheers.
I find the app data to be quite accurate where I drive. There is a section to post up track ratings than need reviewing. I find that the most important part is to make sure that you have your vehicle rating correctly set up, this can really throw out the data of wrong when recording tracks. My goal when out driving is finding unrated tracks and driving them to add to the app database, they more tracks we hit up the more information the app will show for everyone.
Thanks for this feedback. We are constantly working to improve the way the track ratings are added. If you have any suggestions for which tracks are rated incorrectly feel free to post here and we can review them.
It's very hard to give a standard track rating, it all depends on your ability and your vehicle setup. As an example Twins Jeep Track is rated difficult last time I drove it I near touched low range, another Cobbler Lake Track is rated medium was there a month ago and never put it in four wheel drive. Yes I have a very capable 4x4 what I see as a easy day drive others will see as a challenge.
As Glen pointed out there is a feature to update a track. What you have to do, as I learnt is look at the track from a beginners view point. I have added 70 tracks and have another 100 to add when time permits
